About the Singing Band
The Singing Band is one of the recognised lay organisations of The Methodist Church Ghana, bringing together members who are passionate about using music as a ministry. Through joyful singing, traditional Ghanaian gospel music, and Methodist hymns, the Band glorifies God while supporting the Church's mission of worship and evangelism.
Members are committed to Christian worship, musical excellence, and faithful service. Regular rehearsals, fellowship, and spiritual formation equip them to minister effectively during church services, evangelistic outreaches, conventions, and other special occasions.
Beyond leading congregational singing, the Singing Band preserves the rich musical heritage of Ghanaian Methodism while creating a vibrant worship atmosphere that encourages spiritual growth, unity, and joyful praise across the Connexion.
